Architectural Expansion: A strategic side extension significantly increased the footprint, allowing for a complete reconfiguration of the flow and layout.
Light & Volume: The introduction of precision-placed Velux windows and floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors has maximized natural light and created a powerful connection to the garden.
Seamless Integration: Extensive structural work, including floor leveling, was undertaken to ensure a flawless, threshold-free flow between the kitchen and dining areas.
Reimagining the Heart of the Home
We were commissioned to transform a restricted, dark kitchen into an expansive, light-filled sanctuary designed for modern living. By adding a significant side extension to the existing dining room, we unlocked the home's true potential, replacing a fragmented layout with a breathtaking open-plan environment.
To achieve a true sense of luxury, we leveled the floorplate to create a seamless transition between the culinary and dining zones. The addition of expansive bi-fold doors and overhead Velux glazing has flooded the room with natural light, blurring the lines between indoor luxury and the outdoor space.
The Result: A sophisticated, voluminous space that now serves as the perfect backdrop for hosting, entertaining, and family life. We are now moving into Phase 2 of this residence, continuing to elevate the property's interior architecture.
