Bathroom Renovation - Case Study June 23

A detached villa in Bearsden, Glasgow

The Brief

This family bathroom had outdated fitted furniture. The space just did not function well. It was in much need of a face lift.

The Challenges

  • Poor access to the shower area.

  • Nowhere to hang wet towels.

  • Too much wood.

  • Not the best use of the space available.

  • This room did not bring joy to this family.

Design Solution

After some reflection in this area, we decided that space planning & 3D CAD design were the best way forward. We provided the client with virtual reality insight into the new bathing area, which was not just for the kids. Using a modern colour pallet of navy, white, brushed stainless steel and geometric wall panels, we created a sophisticated family bathroom.

Our client loves a smart fix and requested a bath & shower filler that can be activated from their mobile phone. We sourced this amazing Mira Mode dual digital bath & shower filler. No more waiting for the bath to run when you get home or waiting for a shower to heat up before you get in. And yes it does have an automatic cut-off function which is a great time saver on those dark winter nights!

We dug down deep to discover or clients pain points and what they really wanted to achieve in their home. Every project we do is totally unique. It is our goal to give our clients exactly what they are looking for and deliver it they way they imagine it to be.

The navy furniture combined with the pure white sanitary wear provided a crisp clean sanctuary for mum and dad along with a cool bathing space for the kids.
