Bearsden Victorian Villa

Traditional Home Remodeling for Modern-Day Living
We thrive on a good challenge, and this project in Bearsden was no exception. Our task was to remodel part of the ground floor of a stunning Victorian villa.
The young family knew exactly what they wanted: a functional yet stylish, open-plan kitchen and dining area, a separate utility room, boot room, and shower space.
Here’s what we did:
A thick stone wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed, and a steel beam for structural support was added.
We converted an old coal store into a modern shower room.
Created a new door opening for the boot room.
Blocked up the original back entrance to make space for a new utility room.
Installed energy-efficient, Victorian-style sliding sash windows to maintain the home’s period charm.
The transformation is simply incredible—take a look for yourself!
